hope your morning was better than mine

i have been up for less than an hour. the seven stalled a half a dozen times on the way to work (and yes i do know how to use a clutch. the car just died while decelerating when it was cold), and i got pulled over by a bike cop. apperently my break lights do not work when my lights are on...
great.....

so how was your morning?

About the same. While I was on the way to the store, the 7 got sideways a few times and it scared the crap out of me! I had to start out in 2nd gear, just to get traction and then drive in 4th or 5th only at 35 mph or so. What a pain....I wish I could get a winter car.

I got up to 35 deg. temp now its almost 70 and sunny

I miss the change of seasons down here(originally from Illinois) but I have to say there are advantages to living down here......now rust!!!!! Although its not my daily driver(race only) its almost 20yrs old now and not a bit of rust!!!!

Hope your weekends go better!

I'm driving a Daytona with Blizzaks, and it seems to be a great winter performer. Picked it up for cheap so I could care less if I DO hit something, but the Blizzaks are so grippy that seems impossible.

We had an ice storm here last night & RWD cars & trucks were pirouetting like hippos on skates, whereas for me it was drive like usual. I went through the Rockies (there and back) over the holidays through snowstorms. I reduced speed for visibility occasionally, but traction was never a problem.

Still, I miss Pamela and can't wait 'till spring...

my day was pretty good... i was driving to my buddies house when a new mustang pulled up next to me ... to make a long story short, well i smoked him!!! ha- ha!

sounds like you guys need brakelamp relays , a common failure but easy to change. its located under the steering colum towards the fuse block, i believe it even says brake lamp relay on it...

rifraff where do you live in ca.???

bakersfield

one of the problems that i know i have is that two of the relays under the dash are not hooked up.. reason being that when i replaced my wiring harness, i could not find the connections for them.
one is the 3 point relay, and so my blinkers are fash (hate that), and i donot remember what the other one is off hand.

Why not? Rain isn't toxic unless you live in Detroit's industrial area

Or near an international airport (like me).

I got some drawer liners just now. I get to tranfer my tools strewn all over the garage to a new role-away and tool chest I got for Xmas. With all this rain, I've got to keep the tool boxes from rusting somehow.
