Hooker (headers) brand show cage

So I scored some remaining parts from a parts stash that will help fix my cosmetic damage and also some race parts. I have the main loop and mounting plates and one rear tower bracket, but all hardware to this. Anyone have one installed? It's a simple 4 point show cage but it's fairly stout and better than nothing.

So, what are you trying to do, exactly?

If you're racing, tech will just laugh at you and show you the way out.

If on the street, cages are less safe than an uncaged car. Cages only work if you're strapped in to a proper racing seat so tightly that breathing is somewhat tricky. And, as above, a "show cage" is just rice material, nothing useful.

I'd like to find the proper down tubes, the idea if any was to help add some bracing to the body for rigidity. yes I know a well caged car is not very fun for a street car, the bruises a kirkey aluminum seat gives you under your arms ; the time it takes to wriggle out with or without helmet would not save your *** in case of a fire. people used to give us **** for driving with 4 point harnesses, race seats or not. to wrap this up, it's old school NLA parts, will probably just sit in MY garage for a few years, instead of theirs. just thought it was kitch.

I had a four point roll bar in my mostly street driven car until I got smart enough to realize that a roll bar inches from my non helmeted head was not a good idea.
