Hood Weatherstripping

Does anyone out there make replacement hood weatherstripping and bumpers?

You can see what I mean by the pic of my engine bay, they are two stips on the bottom of the pic:

I'm looking for someone that makes exact repro because Mine are old and look like crap. My car was painted red at some point and they got a lot of overspray all onver everything in the engine bay.

Edit: I'm also looking for the piece that goes around the lights.

I ended up losing most of mine, so I just had to apply the left over "scraps" I had left to prevent the hood from slamming too hard.. I hate that sound

If the problem is just paint on them, have you tried to remove it? I'd try some abrasives.

I think you were right about black dragon carrying the bump stops. My weather stripping is in good shape, it is just the paint. I'm in the process of making my car a show car so I was looking at just cleaning up under the hood. That is one of the only things under the hood that doesn't look new now. I will try just removing the paint.

I found this on a model car site: http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tutorials/tutorial/71

They used Castrol Super Clean to remove paint from car models, I'm thinking of trying it on the weather stripping.

A green scotchbrite pad and a bottle of Mothers Back to Black should work. I used the same method on some of my heater/coolant hoses today and they all look like new now.

I used a "blanket rejuvinator" meant for profesional printers on my brake hoses. Made them look nearly new again. These were seriously dried out rubber.

I had forgotten I even had this thread, lol. This car is almost completely parted out. I might be able to use the advice on the new car though.
