hood issues...

ok so i was in a freakin wreck and now i can not get my hood open. the latch doesn't work and my hood is jammed shut, what on earth should i use to get her open without doing damage?

I had a broken latch not long ago and I was able to put my car on the lift and reach up under the car to unlatch it from under the hood.

You can also use a slim jim or a hook.

I had a problem with the hood where one side was bolted on a little bit uneven with the other side so it would not pop up aotomatically someone had to be there to lift it up so it would unlatch propely.
We fixed it by putting it even.
