Holy mother of fly bys who was it.....

Ok im on the interstate heading towards beckley yesterday about 7pm. And a FB that I have never seen before does a hell of a ricer flyby on my ***. I was in the Corsica(cam, intake, exhaust, suspension, for those that want to know) crusing to pick up my lil bro from Paintball practice, going about 85 and I mean this guy had to of been going 120 past me. It looked to be a GSL or GSL-SE I couldnt tell. Whit in color. The plates were from Ohio. So uhhh was it anyone on here cause if it was you a complete idiot for going that fast on that road you **** tard. Couldve got someone killed. ****** ricer.

Oh BTW I think I saw eriks car last weekend on the way up there, and if it was it looks better in person than in photos i give kudos.

The only reason I say he was a complete fucktard is because of where he passed me it was on a blind and damn sharp *** corner for the interstate.

You'd be quite surprised what you can find. Back when I had my 88 Buick LeSabre, there wasn't much for them, but there was people swaping in later engines to the cars. There are many performance parts for the mid to late 90's and 2000+ GM 3800 V6. There are racing versions of this engine putting down 700hp at the wheels. You wouldn't think the demand is there, but it is. There are turbo kits, overdrive pullies for the supercharged engines, headers, cams, just about everything. Put simply, if I hadn't have found the world of the RX-7, i'd probably have a very fast 88 LeSabre right now. Talk about the ultimate sleeper.

Mainly I got all my parts from mantapart I believe is the name. I just got done swapping back in the 3100 motor, and was running a DOHC v6. It was a good set-up but man it was a gas hog. 8MPG wasnt cutting it.

I have a pulley kit, TB, Injectors, and trans rebuild kit on the way. I should be able to put down about 200hp with that set up. But hey I started out cheating anyways my corsica is a LTZ bebadged to just an LT. LTZ had better suspension and more power. So yeah its an alright Auto-x car......but its louder than any 7 ive seen. Makes babies cry.And most parts that fit either a Z24 or Beretta fit it. But anyways enough about that ill take some pics later.

Perhaps the ricer should write it up in the kill section? Scared the ***** out of a redneck in a tarted up Corsica hogging the road. Different point of view in the rear view mirror.

I would think the positions would be reversed, given that the Corsica is a very popular rice-mobile, and one of the few cars on the road slower than a 1st-gen...

I wonder if the Corsicas have their own kill section, perhaps no one has ever posted in it?

i find it awkward if someone posts a kill of beating a honda but going 100mph everyone on here scolds them but when someone cares about safety on the roads they get flamed? haha tell me that isnt messed up. i wouldnt call it a ricer fly by as that happens after u beat them in a race not just cruising

Any kills suck. Street racing is incredibly stupid because it brings risk to people who weren't expecting or accepting it.

The reason I called it a ricer fly by is becasue the speed limit around that area is I believe 60-65. Hell I was going to fast for as bad as that road is. So any idiot that is going double the speed limit there is well what I consider a ricer.I think they thought I was a ricer or something , stupid louad *** fart can they call a muffler, I really really dunno why you would do a flyby on a corsica anyways. Maybe this guy was just retarded. I was just concerned about the well being of the 7 that is all. And my corsica dosnt hog the road. its like a foot skinnier than a crown vic(sarcasm).

I would call them speeding. If it had been a really nice FD or a corvette or a nicer car speeding by you would you still have called it a "ricer"? Besides, did he have ricer qualities? Huge Wing? Big muffler tip? crappy multi-color body kit w/ neon lights, rims way too big for the car? I think it was just a speeding rx7....

Well his exhaust was bigger than mine, and that saying alot. Looked like an N1 know off 2x as big, had rims but they looked fine. And yes if A vette or a FD would have went around there that fast I would have called them a ricer. Ricer: someone who thinks they are fast and has a total disregard for the safty of others, displays acts of speeding around normal vehicles because he or she thinks it is cool. That is my definition of ricer, but a huge wing on body kit could only help point it out.

White, I know of a White FB somewhere far south with a big muffler.

I've only seen it and heard people talk about it. Nothing special though, just talking about how shitty.

That's a pretty bad definition of a ricer. Anyone that I know calls a car rice when it is any import that has gawdy paint jobs, huge wings, loads of vinyls and stickers, way too big rims, multi-colored interior, etc.

Someone doing what you're describing is considered reckless driving. Speeding haphazardly. Not being a ricer. I've had people blow by like crazy and they weren't driving nothing more but simpleton cars. Not rice.

Let's set the record straight.

To be politically correct, rather than calling the driver in question a "****** ricer", one might state that the driver in question displayed "Rice-Like" tendencies!

There now, isn't that better?!?
