Here is my linkage, I just used a bracket from home depot, cut it to 3 eyelets and sandwiched a washer as a spacer in between and used a clip on the throttle bracket. You must choose the hole closest to the shaft or you will not get enough travel with the throttle. Then I bought a universal cable bracket (mine is adjustable) and the extra bolt you see cinches it in place. Of other benefit is the universal dashpot you see near the front of the carb.

This is how the RB linkage works. It pulls from the bottom and the cable mounts in their throttle cable bracket which is mounted to the intake manifold.

No. Leave the check valve in there. It won't cause that much loss in pressure.

Im not running mine as I had issues with it. Its a rollover valve meant to stop fuel if the car rolls over. Personally, I think if the car rolls over I have bigger things to worry about

How is what screwed into which linkage?

The carb linkage arm is screwed to the carb shaft with that phillips screw you can see. The shaft on the carb, which should have no linkage currently, has a threaded hole in the middle of it.

Obviously the linkage rod is held to the linkage arm at the carb end with that clip.

The other end of the linkage rod goes through what appears to be the stock OMP linkage.

so i got all the linkage built and the fuel lines ran, installed a holley fuel regulator and have fired it up a few times but i got a big problem that hopfully some one can point me in the right direction with....

the car will start really easy and idle at around 900 really smooth and it rev's up smooth till it hits about 3000 rpm and it starts to miss and will not rev any higher.... if you force the secondaries open it will bounce up to about 4000 then stall out.

the engine as far as i know is a 12a stock port (thats what i was told by the seller and mazdee's) with a holley 465 carb that we modified and put on center hung fuel bowls and percy jet plates (same as holley adjust-a-jet) its getting 4.5 psi fuel and is on top of a rb intake manifold. the ignition is still stock but was working perfect with the old motor. the timing has been checked on the new motor and it is dead on 0.

i am thinking that the engine is being flooded so i am going to take the jet plates off and try just holley jets the way it was stock. but could it be an ignition problem? the only other thing i can think of is when i unplugged the stock carb did i have to bypass any of those wires? or can i just cut them off?

i keep forgetting pic's... i will try for some when i get the carb back on tomorow

fuel pressure should be t 6psi

it sounds like it is leaning out not flooding out. Black smoke out the exhaust means too rich.
