holley fpr 0-4 psi

does anyone know the factory preset? seems like i read 2.6psi or something close.

Sounds right.. I had one a long time ago, but I don't think they preset them, per se..
I got a gauge you can use at the shop if you need one. Joe knows where it is.

shouldnt the holley be run more around 6psi?

you can buy those inline fuel pressure gauges for pretty cheap from any parts store...

ya, the holley 0-4psi is preset to 2.7psi. My cheepie Purolator one just blew up yesterday (fuel everywhere), so ive been looking around.

My Weber 48IDA would flood itself (to the point of gas dumping all over the place) if I had any more than 3.5psi going through it. I had the Holley Blue fuel pump, and it worked BEAUTIFULLY when I set the FPR to about 2.8psi.

the holley requires 6psi.

candyasssmiler doesnt have a holley carb, he has a holley fpr.
I wouldn't use one of those settable puralator style ones. They suck. Sorry.

I got the cheep and crome one and it is a pice of ****. When I drive for more than an a hour straight it heats up and starts to vaporlock. Don't get a cheep fuel preasure regulator. I'm now looking for a Holley FPR.

yeah, im rolling with a yaw. thanks jayroc, im definitely coming up for the fine tuning, but just to get it running, i wanted to know a ballpark figure. thanks for the help.

I keep having problems with my holley fpr's. In the morning the pressure is at 6 psi, then it heats up and drops to 3.25 psi.
