Hit the dyno today

Mustang dyno

85 Mazda RX7 GS
stock port
racing beat air cleaner with K&N filter
MSD dual leading coil mod
racing beat header
Mindtrain exhaust
stock timing
stock fuel

108 hp @6750

not bad, gotta start playing with the fuel mixture and timing now....

mine made power all the way up to 7k (where i stopped), and it was still climbing. i have a stock carb. if i can find the dyno sheet, ill post it.

Stock carbs can run out of fuel at about 6500rpm without being modded, however, my 12A (stock port) still made peak power at 7800rpm with the stock carb. With the modded carb, it pulls above 8000rpm.

Great stuff - hope you get more once you play with the timing a little.

My stock carb fell off at around 7k before I installed my Mallory Comp70 fuel pump. Now she pulls hard to at least 7800.
