Hinged front license plate ... unless you guys have a better idea

Mariah actually used to sell the hinge kit for theirs. It you were above 20 mph, it would flip up. A cop could pull you over for no front plate, just play ignorant and tell him it's there. He walked around to take a look and viola, a plate! Since you arelady have the Mariah front end, call them to see if they still have the kit.

Orion, the driver side area hole will be used as an intake later down the road ... hopefully sometime this summer. The other side might feed to the intake manifold to cool the outside of it.

For California, FYI, putting the plate in the window just screams "my front plate is not mounted to my bumper". If you want to run with no front plate, don't advertise that its not on. I can guarantee you that the officer won't think "ok, at least he's trying" if you put it in your window. Putting it in your window is a sure way to get a ticket.

You could also make a mount/bracket that mounts it off of center so it wont block your airflow. I notice that alot of Subaru guys do this.

You have to have one...period. Plus if you park on the city street w/o one you will get a ticket.
remember us CA peeps NEED MONEY badly...we are in major trouble. So any reason they gonna ticket you.
