Higher output vent blower?

Has anyone tried modifing or replacing the blower for the ventilation system for a higher CFM?

Why???? I don't see why you would need to upgrade the blower.

after driving the wifes honda, my 7's blower feels whimpy!

the honda's blower does feel like a leaf blower at max setting. LOL

Yeah I think it's kinda weak too...maybe an FC, probably S5 or something because my friend's 86 SE RX-7's is pretty weak too.

Maybe an escort fan would fit and produce more CFM. I've replaced fans on 7s and on escorts (wifes) and they seem to be the same fitting. Try the junkyard.

add another battery inline with the blower. 24 volts should get it moving

I've had my FC blower fan out, it didn't seem very weak to me!

when it's getting the full 12V, it would suck up rocks on the carpet and fling them 15' out the door!

That doesn't sound like it was very good on your blower...

you might try cleaning out the vents and whatnot, they could be plugged. Especially if the thing had been sitting for a long time before you purchased it/started driving it.
