High Oil Pressure

High Oil Pressure

I have high oil pressure (pegs the gauge at 110) in a 83 12a motor is this a symptom of a defective oil pressure regulator? if so what are the steps to replacing it. First time rotary owner.

well turn the key on and see if the guage pegs with out the car running if so i would say a bad sender, i have never heard of a 7 with to much oil... i know i have a prob with the sender craping out on me, i have replaced it 3 times in 11k miles
