hey all.. just wondering.. i have a funny problem..

my high beams don't work.. when i turn them on.. my headlights die completely.. but when i pull the handle toward me.. they work great..

i have to hold them on all the time and it'd be great if i could fix this.. kinda annoying..

it's an 85' GS..

Look for a write up/thread on cleaning the switch. If they work on flash to pass and not on high, it's in the switch.

Kentetsu's write up is great, i have done three cars now and all work perfectly after its done.

 

Cool! just spraying contact cleaner in there worked! just took off the gray cover for the column.. no wheel or switch removal

...and there I was about to post what was happening with my headlights! Now I can got back to consentrateing on my drinking swing.
