Hey LongDuck or anyone
In the watts linkage bracket, would you happen to know if the two studs that control the two arms off it are a hardened stud/bolt? Say a 5 or 8, do they control alot of pressure from allowing the rear end side to side movement? Thanks ~Gavin

The Watts link that you're eluding to; is this the portion that's mounted to the rear axle housing, or to the body?
In both cases, I don't believe these to be hardened bolts, but I would try to replace them with the correct part from a parts car, or from a pick-a-part house.
The lateral stresses that the center Watts pivot takes are balanced between the two long links, therefore, the stresses should be quite low - the bars are only moving up and down and not too much of side-to-side unless under heavy cornering.
If you're talking about the mounting bolts that go through the rod ends on the body, these are likely standard bolts, as well. Don't quote me on this - as I said, I would replace them with known good parts from another car.
HTH, and I don't do PM here or use an e-mail address.
