Hey everyone I have a rotary POS 1st gen..

Man Im so mad, last nite this guy I know from various circles, just got a 2002 Roushe Mustang and he said quote

When you gonna be done with that rotary piece of ****? You ready for your first embarrassment?
And my response was

We'll if I spent 30,000 on my car you wouldnt touch my ***... Hell I might even win now, and if you do beat me it wouldn't be a landslide
Freaking *******! I swear I will put my Mpeg Mavica to the test when I get done! I think the bet will be he will have to kiss the hot tailpipe and 50 bucks sound cool?

Sorry for the vent, just thought you all get some humor outta this... Factory GT with a Super charger... Scares me NOT

BTW: Anyone wanna donate $$$'s to help me get done faster Well it was worth a try..

And also I got my Racing Beat flywheel today, and guess what they sent me the WRONG FREAKING one!!!

What do you guys think? Will he smoke my ***?

Im gonna run the 13b-re cosmo with a single turbo setup, 1600cc sec (probally), Haltech e6k, stage 3 clutch from BNR, a RB 17# flywheel, 88 t2 tranny, a 85 GSL rear end..

The turbo is gonna be :

Stage 4 89-91 turbocharger and manifold. Comes with P trim exhaust turbine, 360 thrust package, T04B package, 60-1 compressor wheel. Turbine housing entrance is ported along with a ported wastegate and port matched turbo manifold from BNR..

Guess thats about it...

What does that Roushe run? I think my weak point will be hooking up, I need to acquire a GSL-SE sus and rear end so I can get some 16's on there

Well, you should be good if you're putting down about 300whp. 300whp should be a piece of cake with your setup

BTW that is INCLUDING factoring in a sucky launch... the Roush's only have about 350-400hp at the crank, plus he's lugging around an extra 800 or so pounds.

Now now folks... they aren't bad cars at all... they have gobs of power and kick *** in the 1/4, and let's face it they handle better than most tired-suspension 1st-gens on the road.

Sure some of the owners are d!cks, but none of the ones I've met have a bad attitude... I susect the number of domestic fans who hae imports is proprtional to the number of import fans who hate domestics.

I'd suspect that the 1st gen would handle better than a 'big boat-like' Camaro. But the Camaro has more torque, so I guess it's a trade off. There's also the weight issue too...

Spoilt brat kids with no clue about anything... I ought to race him in my 80 Rx-7, tell him Ill pull 2 plug wires and he pull 2 plug wires and we will see who wins... LOL

Be funny as hell a stock 80 , beating his *** Vrooooom POP POP POP Vroooooom would be his car, the ole rex will run w/o the trailing plugs.... Could also offer to have a tach race, Ill hold mine at 7k and he hold his at 7k and see which one goes first

Dude actually I think he was the one with the vette, maybe that was his friend? Cant remember, EVERYONE listen to Jeremy thats how this town is... Parent with more damn money than they know what to do with so. So what do we do? We buy our kids brand new Porsche's Beemers, Roush stangs, SS Camaros

Well anyways, Imagine what 50k would do in a first gen? It be what a 8 second car?

I may be at Bryan's shop when your friend comes by.

Stock for stock, my old 94 Z28 would own an FB in the twisties. I wish I had been able to put some supsension stuff on it before it went away, so I could compare it to my FB.

There are two of the TO4B comp housing ones already bulit sitting on his shelf, plus he has lots of compressor wheels and center housings around. I have roughly a stage one turbo that he built a while back, and it kicks ***. I can imagine the 60-1 will rock pretty good.

I have a 4 puck, sprung disc stage 3 clutch in mine. The clutch place is about a mile down the road from my house. I am very pleased with the grip.
