hesitation
I've got an '83 with 12A and carb. The car is completely bone stock. I've noticed that since getting it out of winter storage, it hesitates in third as I get to 5800 rpm and it won't go past 6300 rpm. It doesn't jump or sputter but it starts to jerk slightly at 58. First and second fly right up into the red- no problem. I'm going to go through everything. I just wanted to know the best place to start so that I can work on more fun things like hollowing out the cats and getting rid of the rat's nest.

Hmnn... I think that I will go with the... fuel filter.
I'm glad that the solution is that simple. Could I relocate the fuel filter into the engine bay? Which line do I use at the carb? I just loaned out all of my manuals to a potential future rotor head.
Thanks for your help.
