here's what's going down....
he is what's going to happen with my FB. im getting my s4 13b with aux ports removed (bigger 5th and 6th ports) put into the GSL. it will be have a tuned dellotto carb, K&N filter, racing beat headers, to either a presilencer and straight pipe, or straight pipe to a dynomax muffler. the 13b has 101,000 miles with good compression. it also has aftermarket spings and shocks and regul sport callenger tires (205 45 16). with a -se LSD.
how does that sound to you? it sounds great to me. (this is free for me, im trading my 12a for it.) what kind of power will i be looking at with the mods listed above. and what kind of speed am i looking at?

removing the sleeves really only makes your low end worse. if they're functioning properly you make the same hp pretty much as if they're out. but probably around 145rwhp.

s4 13bs have 146. he means he doesnt think removing the aux port sleeves wont add anything.
we'll see how it works out.
but does this mean no one has a similar set up?

For one your gonna lose your low end and your not getting much in return. The carb setup will add some HP over stock but not much unless its tunned REALLY well and its gonna guzzle gas like a ****. Your probably not going to be able to deal with the noise either because...well...you will see.
I wouldn't say more than 140-150hp

are you talking about rear wheel horse power?
i dont see how a well tuned carburated 13b with a K&N filter, with full exhaust is going to make stock HP

Yeah, shutup kid.
Removing the 5th and 6th port sleves will hurt your low end a little, but it will give you an extra 5-10hp in the top end. With that setup I think your only restriction will be the ports in the engine, so I'm guessing you'll have around 180-190fwhp, or about 160rwhp.

okay, he is expecting about 170 horsepower to the wheels. what does that push out at the flywheel? like close to 200HP? that sounds great. maybe when i get it rebuilt and streetported i'll see about getting aux ports put in. aftermarket ones. like pinapple or whatever. but for now its fine for me.

Full exhaust, Well tuned carb, MSD, No 6ports......180hp
IMOP
6port actuation is a joke. I would rather gut those chinsey bastards then have to worry if their working properly. Carbon build up is a bitch and Mazda should have forseen this......I say gut them. If your worried about low end get a V8

Why would I talk about flywheel horsepower? I am not a magazine or a car company. RWHP is what you put down BHP is what you use to lure people into the showroom and to boast to all your little buddies about how much HP you gotz y0!
