Her first time on an Open Track...

Here she is at CMP. I was a little worried, but she was very reliable, drove great, and was a blast to drive. I drove the snot out of her too and STILL have a grin on my face from last weekend. What a fun car! I am now a certified NASA driving instructor and can't wait to take her to Road Atlanta!

Thank you to all you 1st genners who helped me with her... answered questions, sold parts, and gave me support! I greatly appreciate it!

Once the track bug has bitten, you're addicted for life.
Nice pics. I seldom have anyone with a camera around when I have mine out on the track.

I hope to join you on a track someday in the future. That is the whole reason I own two FB's. One for a street driven car, and another all-track based FB.

Cool! Please come by and say hello at Road Atlanta. I'll be with the RX-8 group. Look for the Roar Racing Truck. I'll be instructing with NASA the rest of the season, so I'm sure I'll see you around.

The two RX-7's there were both insane. One was a PPort Race Car and the other had a 5.0 in it with a miata IRS installed. Both fast as hell.

See you at Road Atlanta.

Yup, Rob is a great guy and he spent a lot of time on that car. He's a hell of a driver. I saw him going through turn 12 at road atlanta, wheel in the opposite direction, drifting his Ford Exploder past a Bullit Mustang last year. The Mustang driver was green, so it was a little understandable, but the kid can drive.
