HELP! Where to buy pinion shaft crush sleeve?!?!

I need help. I recently put new bearings on my pinion shaft but need a new crush sleeve...

I have read plenty of posts here about diff rebuilds that tell you just to "get a new one" and that they are cheap but every place I call, NAPA, Mazda dealer, machine shop all throw their hands up.

Where can I find one??? Is it the same as another car? I reading our diffs are the same as a ford 8". Can I get a crush sleeve for that?

car is an 84 gsl-se

Help me rx7 club... you are my only hope.

Mazda calls it a distance piece, but the parts guy should have been able to figure it out,

0305-27-171 list price is $14.34... at Mazda, and they have tons, well 70
