well, I was driving tonite and all of a sudden, I shift into second and the press the gas in and revs up to about 5 rpm before I noticed it wasnt in gear. the shifter pops out of gear in mostly 4th reverse and a little bit of 2nd gear. Tranny rebuild?? Wats going on..not searchin...rough day

Twinkle, didn't we already talk about this? Maybe I'm getting senile, I don't know.

Try a 50/50 mix of regular gear oil and ATF... If that doesn't do it, then find another tranny.

 

Yep, I tried that last night and no difference..still poppin out of gear..guess its time
