Help With Sunroof

Alright my fellow Gen 1 owners I need your help, I recently purchased a glass sunroof for my 1980. Its in great shape as far as the glass goes but the button head screws that hold the latch bracket and insert tabs are rusted. These are the caps that are on the outside of the roof and are exposed tp the elements. I have tried unsucessfully to remove them but the keep spinning. And since they are button heads theres no way for me to hold them, does any body know how to remove them?

Put a thick rag on both sides of the cap portion and attach a long nose vice grip on it to keep it from moving.
