81 GSL

Ok so this morning (about 10 hours ago) I went to start my car, and it felt like the battery was dead because it wouldnt start right up. I cranked again and it got even weaker to the point that I could barely hear it attempting to crank.

Finally on the 5th turn, she sounded better and cranked right up. I let it warm up and took it for a spin. When I got back, I turned it off, and back on. Started right up with no problems.

This was 10 hours ago. Now, I went to start it again, and it did the same thing. Incredibly weak crank. So weak i really thought it wont start again. But again after a few cranks it slowly sounded better untill it cranked.

Is my battery not getting charged or do I have a bad starter? What should I look for?

 

Could be that the starter is going bad, but first I'd check all the wiring. Could be a bad connection on the battery cables (check both ends).
