help some one riged my looms...

hello ive got a junkyard jewel. 81 12a mazda rx-7,

i boght it from a friend who drove it for a while it lost half its power and parked it in 1996. i looked think it was a coil one was smashed so i have now replasced bolth coils plugs wires to no avail, still lacking 20-30% of power.
i went to test the balast resistors and came to find their wherent any i think is has an electonic ignition. we jumped the coil + to + nothing - to - and she came back to life. ive been looking for schematics and cant find any on the net or in the book, so now im stumped on where to look next, can i just ground the - or does it go elsewhere, please help.

frank

Where are you at? Did you check the ignitors?

Go to www.iluvmyrx7.com for the manuals.

Sounds like an Ignitor. there are two, one runs the Leading plugs and one runs the trailing plugs. check for spark from each coil while cranking the car.
