More info please. Will it accelerate past 2000? Is it running ok once you pass 2000?

#1. fuel filter

#2. Air Filter, spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor

Pretty much, just give it a good tune up. If that doesn't work, then give us more info on exactly what it's doing.

It's possible that the secondaries are adjusted a little wierd, and they are starting to kick open at that point. I don't however know how to adjust them other than if you were to convert to mechanical secondaries. I simply haven't looked into that issue.

My 7 has kinda the same slight stall at about 2500 - 2700 depending on the load. I think it's just when the secondaries are kicking open. But for the way I drive that's about right for me. The only way around it for me is to creep past that point, or just flat out punch it past that point, anything else and I feel the hesitation. 2000 would be a bit low and annoying though.

Let me know if you stumble on a way to adjust them without switching to mechanicals though.

Later,

Sounds like you guys may actually have varnished/gummed up transition circuts. Run a bottle of fuel system cleaner for the next few tanks of gas and see if that helps.
