HELP! intake manifold question for you SE owners.

I'm using the SE lower manifold with my car set up. I was wondering if you can help me identify the nipple(1/4in I think) fitting on the top mid section on the lower manifold(right next to the block). I have no clue whats it for so I just capped. Doe is have vacuum?

Thanks, Ed

There are two fairly large nipples on the back of the intake manifold. One is for the brake booster and the other is for air injection into the main cat converter.

Whats your car set up
If its a fitting for a hose on the top middle part of the lower intake manifold then yes it has vacuum.. for the air bleed sockets within the center housing.

Are you talking about the one under the oil injectors?

That's the connection for the Cold Start Assist System.
I just removed mine. Just cap it off and don't worry about it.

Racerx7, I meant to type my carb set up. Anyways its a dellorto with RB upper. I wanted to know if that nipple(in front tucked between manifold and block) had vacuum so I can use it for the CCV install.

Thanks, Ed
