help: booster venturi

hey guys we have a streetported engine and a PB&J carb. Well we finally got to tuning it and well we discovered the booster venturi on the rear primary was broken off flush with the top of the carb...if you know what i mean. That would explain our extremely large fuel jets we were needing to run. Ok so since thats out of the way anyone have any ideas on how to Either A fix it or to B get the damn stub out of the carb body. Does fuel actually come out of the booster venturi or does it ony affect the functioning of the airbleeds? If no fuel flows anywhere in the boosterventuri assembly couldn't we just JB weld, or pick your epoxy, the assembly back together so long as we don't get anything on the emulsion tubes?? Any help or knowledge would be cool.

Thanks,
Ron

You should be talking directly with Carl about the Sterling Carb that you just got from him.
