Help!

So it's been about a week since I started my car, and now she won't start. I want to get some stuff done today because i don't have to work. I have a 12a, holly 465, rb intake, header, exhaust, magnacore 10mm wires, grounding kit, msd blaster 2's. I have copression, spark, and fuel, but she won't fire. My tach is jumping around between 1k and 4k when I am cranking. She's flooded out 2 times so far, now my battery is dead. any suggestions?

Charge the battery and de-flood it. But you knew that already.

thanks trochoid, i unflooded it. she finally fired. left her for ~10 minutes, and started re-cranking it. flooded a third time, un-flooded her, and she finally started, she wasn't too happy about it, but she's idling in my driveway now warming up. then i'm takin her out and cleaning off the plugs with a few redline runs, then it's re-mounting the seats and re-sealing the exhaust system.

The flooding is one reason why I have 3 Holleys sitting in the cabinet and not on the car. I like my Mikuni.

it pisses me off that my secondaries only come online on their own 1/3 of the time, the rest of the time i gotta get out of the gas and then back in it to open them up.

RB can't make vac. secondairys work for the life of them.

When I had a vacume soconds carb I did the "screw trick" and noticed a world of difference.

Just stick a small screw in the linkage so it pulls the secondairys open manually.

Search for " holley screw trick " if you want more info.

The screw trick works well. I did it just recently and love it. Had the same issue with the sec. opening ( or not ) at random. Only thing is make sure you don't set it to open them too soon or else you'll flood her.
