HELP?!?!?!?! 12a streetport slow rev

looking at buying this fb with a 12a street apparently. what would cause such a slow rev? stock nikki and a rb exhaust could the carb be too small or in need of a full rebuild?

Define slow to rev? A stock nikki, and more to the point, the stock fuel pump
may not be able to keep up with a streetport but it should rev fine at idle I would expect.

What are the rev characteristics? i.e. does it rev slow from 1-3000rpm and then pick up, or is it sluggish across the rev range? I know on my streetport (still in break in) it doesn't really develop power until about 3000rpm just because a) still building compression on the rebuilt motor and b) the aggressive porting robs the low end.

slow revving engine is one that's only running on one rotor.

I wanted to say that, however as long as the chrome is in good shape it can be rebuilt.
