Rotor Wheels! I want one just to hang on my wall. I will stick to my meshies for every day driving, but man those rotor rims are awesome. Looks like you got that car at a steal of a price. Congratulations, and have fun with it.

Hi John,

I'm from Belgium too! Flemish though, so I can't speak french too well.
What an improvement a good car wash can be
I must say my cars have never been that dirty j/k
Anyway, nice to see some other Belgian people hear, don't forget to check out "our" european section!
For your intrest: my car's a 1982 with widebody kit (Mariah), rather (well, very) rare in Belgium. I'm just about done with my TII engine project. The Turbo II engine is running rather nicely now, so I just must clean up things. The car will be on the road again early 2007.

For the Americans: back seats are stock for ALL EU cars, even if some (like me) throw them out. There's hardly any space there!
Rotor rims are not uncommon, but good ones are! They were machined from aluminium, making them rather expensive to produce. It's very easy to see good original ones from good refurbished ones: the originals have the "lines" from the milling machine in the surface!
The rotor rims came from 1981-1983 as a factory option.

Where they ever used in the European cars?

beautiful car. you need to take care of the rust!

a question though,

what is the meaning of that "CH" sticker on the back of your car? when i was in the middle east, and occasionally here in the states, ive seen those white oval stickers on cars, some say "D" or "DEU" or "GB", what are their purpose?

The sticker indicates Country where its registered. CH is Switzerland. Maybe ISO3166 code I'm not sure. They are not required in the US, but mine says "OBX"

thank you,
yes CH indicates the country where the car ran before Belgium: the car comes from Switzerland
CH = Switzerland
B=belgium
GB= england
D= deutchland
PL= pologne

Nice car. What part of Belgium are you from? I don't know much about Belgium, but I just got back from vacation there. It is a real nice country. I went to Brussels and Antwerpt. It is cool how everyone there seems to know 2-3 languages. On the train, everything is announced in Flemish, French, German, and English. I am American, but I am currently living in southern France.

GB = United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (England, Scotland and Wales make up Great Britain.) British channel islands have their own like GBG, GBJ, GBM, etc.
CYM = RX-7 colour, no Wales of course, but don't argue with the Welsh. LOL

I think they are designated by the United Nations, and not the same as the ISO 3166 codes, although very similar.
