Now, perhaps, somone who's been insisting that the smell is coming from the charcoal canister can look at the pics of his engine bay and point it out to 80Drifter and the rest of the forum .

probably carb is leaking. if you cant see fuel coming out from the hoses its comming from the carb. i dont know too much about deltoros but when i had a bad fuel smell in my car it came from the carb so i simply adjusted the floats and wah lah! fuel smell gone.
