I can't rememeber where, but i've seen a heatsink on an oil filter for a 12a engine. my question is, is that stock? and will it fit onto a 13b engine?

thanks guys

Its' the POS oil-water-air cooler that 83-85 12A cars got the shaft with. Yes it probably fits on a 13B, but the stock oil-air coolers that FC's came with are better.

That unit is commonly called the "beehive". It is actually more for heating up the oil than cooling it.

Very true. It helped with gas mileage on '83-'85 cars. They are good for up to about 175HP, according to RB. I've got one that's ready to fit on a 13B. The hardline's been pulled forward to fit the extra 20mm. I was going to use it on a rotary baja, but then a GLC came along and wants my 13B. How can I say no?
