Exclamation headlights wont work...HEEELLLLLPPP!!!!

ok guys i'm in need of some serious help here..... i was installing my new steering wheel today and caused myself a new headache.. this is what happened...i removed the old wheel with a puller...after remove i noticed that the small yellow piece of plastic that places pressure on th ball/spring the helps control positon of the turn signal indicator....(damn that was a rediculous explanation) was kinda cracked....and of course i had to mess with it...and of course..it broke....sooo then i began the process of trying to repair it by removing the whole control panel?? is that what you'd call it? now i did remove the turn signal/head light lever and did manage to save all the BB's that fell out....but upon reassembly my headlights won't work..the retractors work fine and the pass to flash will work...but no lows or highs...also turn signals work fine...i'm sooo lost and i need to get to work so any advice as quick as possible would be great...and thanks in advance guys...

Just a tip for the future. You do not need a steering wheel puller to remove the wheels on our cars.
As far as your headlight problem. Have you checked the fusable links in the engine bay. You may have fryed one. Or you may have reinstalled the combo switch incorrectly. Recheck your work on the combo switch after your verify the fuseable links are ok.

i checked the links doc and they're fine...and thanks for the tip on the wheel puller...i really looked at the combo switch and it seems pretty straightforward..which is why i don't understand why it's not working..i mean the little switches move and ground the diferent contacts...also everything moves freely...and the headlights even go up and down...i don't know...hope i can sort it out because i'm sure a replacement isn't cheap..

I have a combo switch and it would not be that much for you.
Did you try switching the links around. 1 makes the lights go up, 1 makes it go down and 1 gives power to the lights.

Also you could take the combo switch back off and clean the contacts. There is a thread I believe in the archives with detailed instructions on cleaning.

Retractor allows them to go down. Main allows them to go up and Head allows power the headlamps.
