Headlights still stupid!

A while back i was having problems with my headlights, where they would not go up, the brights will not work, but all the dash lights work, if i put them up my self, then turn them off they go back down, when i turn them on and put htem up my self, they are not on, just up, the centre switch does not make them go up. It all happend when i turned my brights on, then turne them off, and my headlights were off, up but off. I have replaced all the underdash fuse box fuses, and the 3 under the hood. I have tried everything! I have done a search but i cant find anything! I got a ticket for driving with my headlights off! running light(small orange rectangle lights) work. Help my please!

mine were doing this randomly..I would turn them on..they would not go up..but when I turned them back off they would go up, then drop back down...turns out the switch on the stalk was dirty..wasn't making contact fully..once cleaned I no longer had the problem..the fact that your's will go down after you but them up seems to be a switch contact problem..as your hl motors seem to work

my headlights were "Possessed", the center consul switch was bad. I replaced the switch with two toggle switches. It was that or one c-note plus for a junk yard combi switch.

The junk yard guy said it was a popular item
