Headlight Covers

I've remove the headlights and the up/down mechanism with them. This is the track car that won't need them. For those of you who may have done this, how'd you all put the headlight covers back on? Did you just make some sheet metal mounts and attach it that way on the sides?

Thanks in advance. I wanted to ask before doing something in case someone had a good idea I hadn't thought of.

Side note: member 'homerx7' is looking for a headlight motor relay... If you're scrapping your motors out, you could make a friend real easy there!

Billy of ReSpeed (bwaits_ ) did a nice implementation of this on his wide body
project a couple of years ago. He can probably give you some good pointers
on how to do this.
