Header for 12A

I'm going to go with a Paul Yaw carb and header next spring.
Is Pacesetter crap? What are some other good alternatives that are in the same price range?

Header

Joe,

Look at the parts trader for a cheep header. That's where I got my header at. I'm not sure If I'm going to get a Paul Yaw carb now or not. I might just do a complete GSL-SE swap. I'll keep you up to date.

-Paul

pace setter brings new meaning to the word ****. the paint will bake off in about 2 sec and then it rusts fast, plus it wont bolt up right, they say its a 12a 79-85 header but it wont bolt up to the stock cats unless its a 84-85. I like the mindtrain set up. you get the stage 5 and its all the same size as the stock piping only 2.5" diam and it holds up tons better

I don't know what price range Pacesetter is, but if they are priced through quality, then save $20 and buy a RB header .

Racing Beat is the way to go. I love mine, my neighbors don't.
Don't buy the PaceSetter header, buy I have had good luck with their muffler. Amazingly enough.
Paul's carb is awesome too by the way.
