Have wiring Qs for new stereo on my 79SA

IS the ignition on a blue wire w/ black stripe in the stero dash wiring area.

It gives me proper voltage w/ ign key on, but it bleeds down by about .01v a second slowly from the proper 12v or so when ign is in to near 0v after a few mins.

And what is the wire for the antenna? Is that a red w/ green stripe?

Does the antenna even have a power on wire? Or does it just come up when the stero is powered (i.e. senses something in the wiring and not directly wired).

Oh, btw car is a very early 79 SA,

merry xmas!!!

Oh ok, so removed the neg batt cable, and its still ticking down by .01v/sec.....Some sorta capacitor attached to this wire I assume.

If it was me,go to Chrutchfield.com and get a wiring harness,it would be very simple, colar coded, plug and play.

Stock harness has already been previously modified for aftermarket hadunit and A/C switch.
No longer stock.
Is totally wired besides the ACC wire.
Only require clarification of what is up w/ the slow Voltage bleeddown and if my nice new headunit is safe while receiving 6v and 3v a few minutes after its off.....I have no seen this wire hit 0v yet......
will this kill my batteria?

That what it should be. However if someones changed stuff it may nolonger be correct. Ign and Acc wires can sometimes bleed off but on this early of a car I doubt that it would do this.

I am interested on where you found this at. Looks to be a copy/paste deal, much easier than going through the FSM.
