hate my neighbors

Ok there it is. Knew it was gonna come but not at my job. I walk out to my car and get in not noticing anything. Once I get in I look and there on the drivers side window is a little note. Here's what it said.
Dear Sir,
Speaking for all your
neighbors - your car
is very annoying and
would you please fix the
noise so we don't have
to complain to anyone
else. It would be
very appreciated.
Thank you.

Don't even have the courtesy to come to me and say something to me to my face. Have to be scared and write it on a note like a sissy. I hate my neighbors. Rich stupid old wrinkled......things. No offense to any older people on this forum. You cool, you have an rx7 and aren't afraid to drive. But these people...........hate em......smash they're windows in. Has this happened to anyone else. I mean damn what the hell can I do. I already have a presilencer from racing beat on it and it's loud. I mean loud like one of the cars down at the track.

Post flyers: "To whom it may concern: Since you are too chickenshit to talk to me about my car, I will not be making any silencing modifications, and will, in fact, remove all silencing features until such time as one of you PATSY CORNHOLES* come and talk to me."

* Old people use this kind of language all the time, it will get their attention.

Well we dont live in a richy neighborhood where there is just old peoples. Our neighbors are really cool when they see us playing with the car. Usually someone comes and yaps with us, not to mention we have some street racers that live in the neighborhood.

Last year while getting ready for sevenstock we had parts and seats, and tires off car, sterio up loud. One neighbor walked up handed me a pop and my boyfriend a beer and said....thought you might need something cold to drink since your working so hard.

Sorry your neighbors suck....I agree with comradeqiant....lol

just get yourself two of the noise reducers that go in the ends off the muffler. Think summit sells them in the catalog. just normal driving leave them in, night on the town showning off take um out....

I'm not talking about the presilencer, I'm talking about the catback part of the racing beat exhaust system. They sell that muffler withe the system, because it gives good sound, isnt ungodly loud, and still flows great. GET THE RACING BEAT MUFFLER. The muffler is absolutely fantasic, I have it.

Yea, those baffles help a lot. And they aren't too expensive.

Personally though, I wouldn't back down to a group of people who won't sign their name to a complaint. Find some one with a decible meter, get a reading and find out the local law. If you're below it, thats tough for them.

I don't like how it looks too much. No offense to racing beat. I got the headers and presilencer, springs, strut bar, and a bunch of **** on it. I just don't like how the muffler looks. I like how my exhaust looks.

hornbm: I believe the man said he has no money. Having spent a good sum on, what looks to me like, a really badass kick-the-****-out-of-Racing-Beat N1 setup I don't think he wants to waste money on something else. If you don't have any advice on how to help him with his CURRENT SETUP, which is what he was asking about in the first place, GO AWAY.

No doubt, no doubt. I think even the RB setup is at full acceleration. But you said you take it easy in the neighborhood, yes? At low RPMs, lets say 3500 for the sake of still being able to drive it, thats what you should look at. If thats still too loud, the baffles are excellent.

I'd check to see if there's a noise ordinance in your neighborhood and if there is see how loud it can be before you get in trouble and then go test it. I'd hate for you to lose your car just cause it's too loud.

Paint them flat black with heat paint shove them in. You'll will be the only one that knows it's there. Unless of course you are one of those guys that when you bend over to take them out your plumbers crack shows. Then they might not look to good

I believe "baffles" are the things im talking about
