The problem sounds like your neighbors are old.

If they call the cops, the cops are going to be pissed that they have to come all the way out there, so you'll probably end up with some tickets.

Also, you will be "marked" as that bastard street racer kid with the neighborhood cops, and they'll be watching you like a hawk to bust you while driving.

Yeah it sucks, I dealt with the same problem in the past. It doesn't pay to **** off people so close to home.

yeah dude neighbors like that suck. i work on my cars a lot back home and if i leave any thing sitting they call the cops god forbid my nieghbors lawn and the rest of the neighborhood doesnt look like a scene from leave it to beaver. all my neighbors are old except like 2 houses who are really cool and the guy up the street with 2 harleys i remember my vw beetle as soon as i took of he fenders and let it sit with in like 6 hrs i had an orange movement sticker on it just for spite when i took off the body for a while i let it sit on the side of the house and the frame in the drive way lol! i confronted all of them to see what i could do but nobody fessed up to calling the cops (bastards)

Do these only work on Apexi mufflers?

I have a MagnaFlow not sure which model or size tip but pretty big. I'm guessng a 4" x 14" round, just by looking at there pictures, could be 3 1/2".

 

I would imagine those are only for N1s, though you could probably mount them into whatever had a similar size and shape opening.

LoL i had a problem like this. When i first got my dirt bike i had the carb rebuilt and i put the needle backward in the person next came over yelling at me saying he would call the cops. I said go for it because it in my backyard and its 3:30 in the afternoon. Then my dad came home and ask me how my day went and i told him what had happened. My dad was like oh really and went outside and i went with him he got on the dirt bike and rev'ed the **** out of it and the person next door came out again and my dad was like **** off and the guy keep trying to talk and my dad rev it

I had that problem with my neighbor who just moved to our block when i rebuilt my bP motor and had to start it with oil.
He jumped his fence and started talking @#$%&$ and threatening my brother-in law and me on a nice Sunday morning.

I had my garage open and pulled a 6-foot pipe. Then he went home and called the cops... (Note I am only 150lbs 5-7 he is 200lbs 6.0) So I said ok I will put the pipe down and we can throw hands like real men (I was really pissed) but he kept quiet. Then the cops show up and he started up again...That’s being a strait *****!!! Then he started talking trash bout how he was from the projects in NYC bla bla bla...(note I live in the subs) Then I told him its not were your from but where your at bro!!!..

He didn’t realize that Hispanics stick together so when he saw all my brothers, sisters, dad and even mom come out the house he bolted....
After that he never said a word. Though I still dislike him because he mouthed off to my dad. But you pay for everything you do on this earth so I am not worried.!!!!!!!

Its funny how old people forget that they were once young and wild.... They want everybody to stay inside with play-station, play sports, be quiet, have perfect grass, white picketed fence etc!! Then they wonder why our kids have no street smarts and are all overweight!! Then when they get out they resort to drugs and alcohol.

I got lucky with the noise, the guy to the left has a truck 350 engine with flowmasters, have to hear him every morning.
Guy to right like to keep his stereo up real loud for about 5 minutes AFTER he pulls in the driveway.

So I couldnt see anyone complaining about noise any time soon.

I think the point being made by most of these posts is that neighbors that whine are hypocrites. "Oh that car is too loud, but my Harley is fine!" or "I don't like noise, but its ok for me to leave a pile of dog crap on your front yard." Given a choice, I doubt folks like YapaKanichi or Goopy would live in suburban neigborhoods full of whiners. Its like the people who got an airport near where I grew up shut down, they said it was too loud. Or my neighbor who doesn't like all the cars in our front yard. I doubt any one of these people would like it if I came in and complained about Fido, or their god-awful yellow house, or their nasty smoking heap of a VW Microbus. Long winded, so whats the point? I get no respect so don't expect any respect from me.

 

And who said those Hardley Ablesons could run around with open exhausts? When did we vote THAT one in? I'm fedup with the flatulant blats of my neighbors Hardley!

And leaf blowers! Who said they're OK. All they do is blow leaves from neighbor A to neighbor B, and then the next one blows from B to A!

Our new gardener showed up in a red mustang with a dual hose blower (one each for left and right!) and I fired him on the spot.
