Question Has anyone used classicgarage.com?

What's the deal with these people? Why are their prices sooo damn cheap, I'm looking at a set of Koni Strut for Mazda RX-7 (E.O.) 11/79-1980 Front KO-86-2124Retail price: $182.00classicgarage.com: $29.96 !!! Are these crappy shocks or a really good deal? The rears are more resonably priced at 75$ but still way dow from retail prices. It seems the Tokico HP's I was planning on have now been discontinued, and I may not be able to get a set for the front, so these may be the new alternative. Later. -George

I bougth a set of front strut inserts about a month ago - no problems. It looks as though the stock has been in their whse a while - just check the seals to make sure they're not dryed out and leaking. They are buying up close-outs from the factory and there's nothing wrong with the product from my experience with them,. they ship very fast and at a flat rate of $2.50 (believe it or not)

well i have gotten 3 things from then and 2 of the 3 i had a prob. with. i ordered 2 bodykits and a set of front konis ajustable for my 81. 1 body kit was bent to HELL and i told them i was mad... got a oh we are sorry ...tuff **** kinda attt. the konis were great, i did notice that they seemed to have a leaking seal. they said to sit them upright 4 3 or 4 days and then check them... seemed to work, well when i took the car to the alm. shop they said 1 was shot. so i commented to them that 1 was bad... koni has a l.t. warenty. they said tuff ****, send them back to koni . we cant help you......MY ***. If i went to NOPI and got a set of konis they would swap them out inhouse and then nopi would send it off to get it fixed then sell it again or swap it if somebody else needed to replace 1. im nolonger a fan of classic.

Hmmmm Grrrrr. I was afraid of the 'too-good-to-be-true' routine. I think I'll stick to the known Rotary Shops. It's not worth the risk or hassle for the savings of 20 bucks. Thanks for the reply.
