If rains or the humidity is very high, the car becomes very hard to start. It will also sometimes stall while driving and flood out. It only happens during high humidity or after it rains. The car is 84 GSL with a S5 Turbo 13B running a powerfc. Any ideas? Thanks

 

Dampness gets to a bare set of wires and causes a short that makes the ECU go nuts. I would
inspect all the wiring for the powerfc and the engine swap/turbo stuffs.

 

Everytime I heard this complaint on Car Talk over the years, they always said "spark plug wires"

 

Check your weatherstripping for leaks. Ive heard of water leaking through door and window seals and pooling inside the foot well drowning the ECU.
