handling with power steering

what do you guys think??? i was discussing rx-7's and poweer steering with a friend last night and wondered to myself if the cars equipped with p/s would handle slightly better than ones without. i personally do not like power steering in the rx-7. i think its overboosted and takes away from the steering feel of the car. i can't seem to find many handling numbers on the older cars. what i do have however, in march of 84, in car and driver, they tested a gsl-se to pull .82g on the skidpad. it was equipped with power steering. i am not sure what a gsl-se or gsl for that matter would generate on the skidpad with out p/s. any houghts?

I have a seven with power steering and I've driven ones without it. To me personally the only difference is when the car is not moving. While the car is in motion they both feel exactly the same to me.
