After you install the lights, how difficult is it to use the switch and get the headlights to open at the correct angle for proper aim?

I have a hard enough time adjusting the beam the normal way, standing in front with a screwdriver, unless the car is parked in front of a wall. I couldn't imagine trying to tap a button on the open road until you got the correct angle, then starting over if you overshoot. I'd be a little worried about the safety for myself, and other drivers being blinded.

Some state laws require use of headlights whenever it's raining, even in daytime. You can't see the beam very well in daylight and thus would be hard to judge how high to raise the lights. Other drivers would still be blinded though if they are too high. A bored cop might pull you over just to let you know your lights are out of adjustment. I wouldn't advise telling him that you "adjust" the lights every time they are turned on.

There is a mod for the FD headlight motor to stop the lights at a preselected position. I wonder if that could be applied to the FB?

1) Get in your Rx-7
2) Drive to the local Used Car Dealer
3) Find an old 240SX, Integra, Accord, 300ZX, Stealth, 3000GT, Supra
4) Trade in your Rx-7 for one of the above
5) Go home and rice out the car you bought in step 3
6) Hope that one of the purists in this forum will buy your old Rx-7
7) Pray to the rotary gods that they dont strike you dead.

I have seen alot of guys do this mod to their car and it always seems to come out great!
What about the Hondas Jay, they go with rice like macaroni and cheese, by the way need an updated pic of your car mate

Interesting writeup, not a bad idea at all. It's been quite a while since you wrote that up, any long term problems?

Nope. it has the same effect as pulling the relay. But it only works with the headlight open switch. As soon as you turn the headlights on all the way, they pop-up completley.

I only think it looks goos at night with the driving lights. Most the guys are right, during the day or with headlights on, it look kinda lame. I had red driving lights and it looked really good, but i got a ticket for it. LOL. So i switched to blue.

I'll post picks when i get back in town next week.
