ok, the top of the intake on my car (reaction chamber?) says "RE-EGI" , does anyone else have the one in the pitcure? I've never seen that one before.

I too saw that unit up for sale.
I have the same one you have "RE-EGI".
Is it possible that this intake in the pic is only on cars for Japan or somewhere else?
Maybe it was an aftermarket upgrade that came with bigger injectors and that is whay it is called "SUPER".

I would like to know also.

ok , let's get back to the original question.........

Does anyone know the difference,if any, between the "RE-EGI" that everyone seems to have and the "RE-SUPER INJECTION" one ?

(other than the fact that they say different things on them, for the smart-*** that was thinking of saying that next.....)

They have different color writing on them.... hehehe... No, umm... dunno, never seen one... Maybe like Fire85GSLSE said, that it's from Japan. That seems to be the most logical idea...

i'm gonna post naked pictures of your intake all over the internet!!

Yeah, that was my plan too. i'd do the one on my car, but then i wouldn't have a car until it was done.

it would have cost me $84.49 CDN + shipping anyways!! since it's my day off, maybe i'll just drive to every junkyard in Ontario until i find one

yea, it does take a bit of time to polish one, I bought a spare to there would be no downtime. maybe if this new one works out I can make you a deal on my old polished one

i think i figured out the bidding thing....i've been practicing on some unsuspecting record buyers

anyhow, i got this from Jim Tanner at Racing Beat

My guess is that you have provided a photograph of a Japanese-market fuel injection assembly. We have no idea the difference(s), if any, inasmuch as we do not have any history with these engines that were intended for the Japanese islands only. good luck.

christ if THEY haven't seen one i think you got somethin' special there MAX7 (and i'm all pissed off again! :p ) let me know what happens with it and good luck with your 'new' 7

now...who knows what size the oil pan drain plug gasket is for an '85 GSL-SE ?? is it 1/2" ???

I've been on eBay over 3 years now, there are some tricks of the trade
I collect alot of the rare, one of a kind items. So I pull out the emergency fund to make sure I can get some of these items.
It will be well documented
