GSLSE backfiring

i have a stock gslse, it wasnt holding idle very well so i replaced the throttle body with another one. idle problem fixed, but now it backfires when revved above 5000rpms.

so would is it neccessary for me to re-do the timing? all i did was change the throttle body. should i just turn the srew for rich to lean all the way to lean?

any advice or suggestions? thanks for your time.
