GSL-SE Suspension swap How-To w/PICS
ok here it is ,
this will all be on my site when i get back home.
ok before ripping away at the rear end let me tell you that you will need the brake line from the gsl-se,
the one that runs across the top of the diff
here is a shot of the fitting on the non se diff
and here is a shot of the one you need,
yes i know i cut mine not knowing,
learn from my mistakes,
ok if you cut yours or if you can get it out etc...
then go to the front of your donor and steal a front line,
it will work but it will be a little long,
also advance auto parts sells the line for $13.00 but i was being cheap

ok you can leave all the control arms attached to the car except for one,
here is a shot of the one that has to stay on the diff because it wont slide off unless you take off that monster bolt

unbolt the top of the struts and watch the whole front suspension drop
by the way yes those are the racing beat strut lifts to lower your front end,
this car had the most complete suspension setup i have ever seen in my life,
huge sway bars on the front and rear,
poly bushings,
rb strut lifts,
kyb shocks and struts,
some of the tightest wound springs i have ever seen,
some peopel say there eibach pro kits,
bad *** weds wheels wrapped in 205/50 ? tires,
and a full mariah body kit.
what a lucky guy

Oh.
Well the control arms and steering arms are the same for all 1st-gens... no need to swap them out unless they're bent or the balljoint is hosed.
