Whats the weight of the stock GSL-SE wehels?

my konig tuners are 17.5 lbs a piece.

What should i get for racing wheels eventually?

fc spares up front i know that.. and get some nice meaty slicks on some lightweight mags for the rear...

i have both my 16's and my factory and I'll tell you that your aftermarket one are lighter. The are well over 20lbs with 195/55/14 tires.

My 16's are 8.7lbs without the tire. (each)

We are around the same in over all wheel weight.

 

I think he means for autocross, etc... not drag


but, I could be wrong also...

You can get lighter then FC Enkie Spare,but for free it couldnt get any better,Look into Weld Drag lights




I have to raise the bullshit flag on this..
The lightest Tuner style rim I was able to find were
Rota Slipstreams and they are like 12lbs


Or NZO Monza which are like 10-11lbs

My rims are magnesium..... i paid 300+ for 16" wheels which is really expensive for plain looking 16" wheels

I have a couple of 15x12" magnesium wheels in my garage.. they probably weigh about 8 lbs or so.

 

To answer your question the stock SE wheels are 13lbs. While I've had the tires off I wieghed one.

 

Is that 300.+ each ? I cant tell much by looking at yoru pic,What brand are they do they have a web site?

I cant find tuner style wheels with weight that low,the wheels i posted are for 4x100 which alot of Hondas around here run.But Im not sure if they got 4x114.3

What do them ROH Snipers weigh in at?

 

The stock 14x5.5 GSL-SE wheel weighs 13 lbs. Jimmy, you have a set of Etoria's (manufactured by Enkei) which I highly doubt weigh 8.7 lbs each. While a nice looking wheel, it isn't one of their lightweight ones. Not trying to bust on you, just saying you may have been misinformed. 18.7 lbs actually sounds about right so maybe the "1" got dropped somewhere. Unless of course you're talking about different wheels than are pictured on your car on your web page...

The lightest 16" wheel I've been able to find is the Racing Hart CP-035 which is 10.8 lbs in a 16x7. It's a forged wheel and is not cheap. They come in at $1400-1500 a set.
