Question GSL-SE starting issue

Hello. I have a small issue with my GSL-SE that has recently cropped up. Up until a few days ago, when I started my car, it would go vroooooooommmmm up to almost 3k then drop right back down to where it should, like it normally should, but the past few days, when I start it when it's cold, it goes to 1500 and goes through the warm up cycle down to 800, or, if the engine is warm, it just goes straight to 800, no vrooom then a drop. Get what I'm saying??? Anyone know what could cause this to happen? Thanks.

It's working properly now

It shouldn't go to 3000 rpm at all in the warm-up procedure... higest it should go is (I think) 2200 rpm...

Gump,
I know what you mean but I don't know why your SE is acting differently now. The immediate high-rev on startup with these cars I had always assumed was computer controlled. Take a look at your throttle bottle though. There may be some blocking of parts or something may be interfering with your linkage/butterflies/etc.
