GSL-SE rebuild

My rebuild started as a wild hair. it was coming up on 200k and it was starting to run a little rough. so i decided that as soon as i hit 200k i would just rebuild my engine. so i pulled it out and started taking everything off. i got it fully stripped down got the front cover off. next was the flywheel. i had the socket for it from a previous engine pull apart. so i begin to try to get off the biggest pain in my *** bolt with no luck. after trying everything i could without buying the correct tools for it. i went ahead and got the mazdatrix flywheel stop and nut remover. got it in and the sucker came off without a problem. so i begin to pull it apart. it took me 2 small brass pry bars (brass to ensure i didn't harm the housing) and about 30 min of me fighting it. so i get my first look at a 13b. then on to the first housing i go. it took me a bunch of wd-40 to get it off. the rest went pretty well. i noticed about 2mm of the chrome plating was prety worn on the outter edge of the housings. and started looking for a new engine. i went the the forums here and saw that 2mm of wear isn't that bad. so i went ahead and kept them. so on to making sure i got the right rebuild kit. 3mm apex seals fit perfect. i was worried about having to machine the rotars for them to fit but no need for that. then i saw it. no corner seals or side seals. so i went and ordered them. waiting for the new parts i cleaned my engine bay. and what do i find under 25years of dirt and grime. RUST! so i begin sanding down my engine bay and repainting it. all went well except when i was in there sanding i stepped on the old engine mount and it broke. the rubber on it was crap and just came right off. was going to get polly mounts but they are a ton of money. and solid is alot cheaper and only 6 bucks more than stock. with engine bay sanded and repainted i go back to the engine. pineapple racing port templets are used for my porting. porting went well and very nicely polished. i feel i did well for doing it my self. new parts in. so on to the fun part putting it all together. all went well for the engine going together. i start putting in all the stuff for the front cover and omp. that omp gear is the biggest pain. with such a small key to hold the gear in place it is really hard to get it just right but i got it... after an hour or so. then goes on the dizzy gear. uhoh. i didn't mark which part was facing me when i pulled it off. yeah i know im a dumbass. so after much concideration and studying of the part i noticed a small bevel on one side and a small wear mark on the plate that holds it on. that must be how it goes. not sure yet...... so on to putting on all the engine externals. all goes well untill i get to the last part. the intake. as i carefully tighten the bolts down i heard a loud POP! uhoh. what did i do? broke my lower intake manifold on the 5th or 6th port. crap now what. fight and try to find the stock intake. no! if i gotta replace it why not go better. so i couldn't afford the holly carb kit i would love to have so what do i do. i decided that i would go with a s4 or s5 intake and tb. so i ordered the new intake s4 is what i went with. im waiting on it now. so now im thinking what all mods do i have to do to make this work. i know i'll have to block off the extra injector holes but is that all? i'll update when i get it in and see what all i have to do.

for those that don't want to read this all here are the highlights.

*im a dumbass
*what mods will i need to do to a S4 intake to get it to fit and work?

Yep, the above poster gave you the most thorough thread on the S4 swap. I have an almost complete S3 intake that I would have sold you real cheap. And you said that you bought a "NEW" S4 intake? I can't imagine how much that cost. Well, I hope you get her back together and going again.
