GSL SE questions

I have a very good running 85 SE. Does need some body work behind rear wheels and rocker panels. What is a car like this worth? Has around 200k on motor but runs good. 5speed. I am thinkin about selling the motor and trans out of it and maybe go V8 or just sell the whole car.

I'd say about 2k minus needed work. Atleast around me. Your area may vary.

Personally, I would not pay that around here. It is an SE, so that helps, but I had a Gen 2 Turbo that a guy could not sell for 2800 here. I got my 85 LS for $300.

Hopefully, you will do better. Good luck with your sell.

Like Ace said... if you don't like rotaries, sell it to someone who does and go buy yourself a piston car.

Topeka? I know what you mean about rust, I grew up in Manhattan. In California where I
've gotten old we don't do anything with rusty bodies but fill ditches. I just pulled the LSD out of a rust free GSL-SE with nice body which I will send to junk yard. Sounds like you would like one of our rust free Dodges??

Not tryin to "dis" rotor cars, but I have a Barn full of V8s with no home! Picked this car up cheap enough and will either part it out and crush it or sell it whole. But more I look at the rust, I think its gettin parted out. I did drive it around the block and it seems to run good but smokes a little. So is the motor worth pullin and sellin or shall i send it to the crusher. I would rather see the parts go to guys who need them than to the crusher.

If you are just going to crush it, you can give it to me.
