gsl-se no idle

ok so I've been searching for a while and i read that idle post just for the gsl-se.

i have an 84

car runs fine and I can drive it... It just doesn't idle, if i let go of the gas the revs just drop to 0 and car stalls

but i can keep it running with the throttle

things I have done:

fuel filter, changed the fuel, new injectors, new plugs, timing is good, TPS was adjusted.

I've been trying to search for vacuum leaks but i guess i really don't know how.

what would cause the car to simply not idle (im not talk rough, or low) ?

It's difficult to check for vacuum leaks if you can't get the motor to idle at all. Check the inlet ducting to the T/body. Make sure that all the joining points are tight. Also make sure the small hose at the top of the ducting near the throttle body is connected.

Welcome to the Darkside.

In my sig line is a link to the online FSMs, and other reference material. Should make troubleshooting a bit easier.

thanks guys! I'm really excited about my SE it's going to be a dedicated auto-x/ track car and I think it's a great platform for the job

on a side note. I bought it from an old woman who said it didn't run (and it didn't) with only 70k on it for $350!!!!!! i think I've spent maybe $150-200 on random little thing and now she purrs like a kitten!!!!!!!!!!!
