GSL-SE engine bay

Well, my motor is done. It has been rebuilt and painted. I have been rebuilding the complete suspension and brakes. Other than the rear cargo area and some small stuff (other than painting the car) she is about complete.

Here is a motor shot and a door panel shot.

And yes that is a S4 intake, TB, rotors, and streetported housings in a gsl-se.

Do you plan on getting it dynoed at all?
If not, I'd at least appreciate a 'by-the-butt' comparison of before and after (with the S4 intake, and streetporting and such)
Looks very nice :-)

I would like to get it dynoed one day if I can get one pass for cheap.

The by the butt feel, feels nice and powerful but while the car was down I changed alot of things so not too sure. And I also drove my 91 TII a couple of time before getting this one back.
I have spoke with two friends and were gonna see how it compares to their 7's.
One is a GTUs and the other a S4 TII with the s5 upgraged turbo, intakes, rebuild with streetport, computer and exhaust. So after this I should have an idea.

Hope to be near 190 at the rear wheels. If I can crack the 200 mark I am done.

Here is what the GSL-SE is,

85 GSL-SE White with Maroon

S4 Motor rebuilt and streetported with GSL-SE oil pan and front cover
S4 upper and lower manifolds
S4 TB with the TB mod done
Emission stuff removed
RB streetport full exhaust
RB lightweight s4 flywheel and counter weight
Centerforce clutch
MSD blaster coils (putting on soon)
rebuilt injectors flowing 710cc
Dual pully
Power steering
AC
E-Fan (putting on soon)
Rebuilt rad.
160 deg. Thermostat
Redline fluid in tranny and rear end
Eibach springs
Tokico blues
RB front and rear sway bars
Brand new lower control arms with ball joints (Mazda)
New outer/inner tie rod ends
New bushings
Undercoating done when everthing was removed
New wires
Plugs (7's and 9's)
Cap
Rotor
tristrutbar to mount
new door seals

Things left
ECU reprogram (have spare ecu to send off so I can dyno the before and after)

Replace clutch master, slave and by a ss line
Replace brakes, rotors, master cyl., wheel bearings and seals
Paint brake parts
Paint starter
finish cold air intake
finish the rear cargo area (dye back maroon)
replace carpet
replace window channel seals
add MSD 6a box
get 10mm wires
look into upgrading the injectors to 800cc
recharge/convert the ac
add GTU style spolier
but on my panasports

Paint outside of car

maybe then I will be done and can finish my 91 TII
Thought about going to the s5 lower intake and the FD upper intake. Not too sure the gain from that though.

That's nice looking. 200 ponies is a respectable number too.

Looks great, what size/offset are those Panasports? They fill out the fenders really well.

Sorry but I have over 600 in the rims and tires and have not even been able to use them yet. When I first put them on the 7 they rubbed the fender wells under braking due to the spring being old. In a week or two I will put them on an see what happens now, but they might be going up for sale if they still run under braking or i might change tire size on the fronts.

As for the tn thing........ we have no testing in my county.
BTW- when are you gonna come out with us one day? I am interested in seeing what the carb'ed 13b can do.

Well this one does not have a turbo to spool up quickly and not as fast either.
Thanks, glad you like it.
